What you have is what you get 🤝. Mr. Tanaka of Fujisawa's Japanese Style Seikatsu Co. invited us to go fishing on his gorgeous cruiser in Sagami Bay 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌! We were invited on a gorgeous cruiser by Mr. Yoshida, the owner of a wonderful restaurant in Odawara called "Hojo Suigun," which is famous for its tuna cuisine 👍

The boat in the back is the Bancho Maru owned by Tatsuo Umemiya ❗️ I have been fishing for 30 years, but this is the first time in my life that I have been on such a gorgeous boat. ❗️

The boat is going full throttle, heading straight for the tuna point off the coast of Oshima. ‼️ After all, Mr. Octopus, I can't sleep well the day before the big day because I'm in such a high state of excitement. I was proud to say that I have the same three semicircular canals as a fisherman, but maybe it's because of the lack of sleep that I'm unusually seasick 😂.

Sorry everyone, but I'm going to have to take a little rest 💤... 💤. I've recovered from my seasickness and will be arriving at the point shortly.

I heard that ☀️ sunny weather is good for tuna fishing‼️

At the point of Izu Oshima, it's time to start 🎣 fishing. ‼️

Unfortunately, today is not so good for Tuna fishing 😭

Tuna seem to be more healthy when it's sunny and the surface of the water is shimmering.

But I heard that we can target yellowtail and kanpachi, so it's time to have some fun 🎣 fishing 🎣 ‼️

Mr. Octopus specializes in fly fishing, which is a method of fishing mainly near the surface of the water with a hair hook.

Today, however, it is a little difficult to fish that way.

So, we borrowed the captain's tackle and used a "tie-laba" device to target fish at depths of 30 to 50 meters.

This is the first time for me to try this "TAI-RABA" hook.

As soon as the hook lands on the bottom, we reel it in slowly, slowly, slowly.

After dropping the hook a few times, I kept reeling it in and out...

Mmmmmm... ‼️

As soon as it landed on the bottom, I suddenly got a bite.

I reeled it in and caught a "red grouper", a high quality fish 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌!

This fish is worth 5,000 yen per kilogram.

Unfortunately we didn't catch any sunfish or kanpachi, but this way of fishing called "tilefishing" was also very cool and fun 😁.

And so, the time for fun fishing is over 😂.

On the way home, Mr. Tanaka-san, who has a big belly, will treat us to a delicious tuna dinner at Mr. Yoshida's restaurant "Hojo Suigun" 🙌! First, sashimi platter: ‼️

Yoshida-san's tuna, medium fatty tuna, red meat, yellowtail, flatfish, etc.......

It was the first delicious sashimi we had in a long time 😜!

Then we had tuna steak 💕! And the last one was tai meshi💘

I've had tai-meshi before, but this is the first time in my life that I've had kinmedai-meshi. ‼️

The delicate and refined taste of the dish made President Taco's 🐙 eyes heart 💓
