The renovation of #Tsuruya Fishing tackle store in Togane City, Chiba Prefecture, a masterpiece of #Hiroshimaya Taco President 🐙 for the interior decoration of #Tatami ‼️

I came here after a long time to Tsuruya Fishing Gear Store ‼️‼️ in Asakusa. This store is Japan's 🇯🇵 oldest fly fishing specialty store ‼️

We designed and built the renewal of this shop a few years ago 🙌

Fly fishing is the so-called British 🇬🇧 style of hook and line fishing 🎣.
It is very similar to tenkara fishing in Japan 🇯🇵. The best part of fly fishing is catching fish by making your own hooks at night with bird feathers to resemble insects or small fish that the fish feed on 👌.

I love this kind of fishing and have been into it for 30 years 💕.

⬆️I even catch these precious and beautiful cherry trout. ‼️

⬇️The appearance of the store is like this. Before, the entrance was on the left side and it was a little difficult to enter.

We moved the entrance to the front and made it easier for "Ichigen-san" to enter. ⬆️ Also, the entrance door (🚪) is noteworthy.

It looks like an old door, but it is a new door.

We applied an antique finish, which is called "aging paint". The base coat is painted with 5 different colors of paint like Tsugaru paint, and then olive green is applied for the finish. The cracks are also intentionally made. ⬇️ is a fly fishing store, so the door knobs are made from antique reels.

All the walls are painted with bone white diatomaceous earth.

So the inside of the store always has a fresh air like a mountain villa in the highlands. ⬆️ 📺TV monitor in the center of the wall

On both sides of the wall, there are stained glass windows of brook trout that President Octopus bought when he was living in London.

This is a personal gift from Mr. Tako to Mr. Tsuruya.

⬆️ The store sells vintage bamboo poles, so the floor is also made of bamboo flooring. This floor is very durable👌.

I also accented the ⬇️ glimpse of the water area with a little bold 🇬🇧 William Morris wallpaper made in England.

⬇️The toilet, which used to look dingy, was repainted with diatomaceous earth to keep it clean and fresh. ‼️

I feel like taking a deep breath 😁.

I made this cabinet to order so that it fits in neatly.

⬇️This store is staffed by a master bamboo rod maker named "Mr. Fujii".

He can customize, order, and repair your fishing rods. The walls are made of pine wood from Bordeaux, France🇫🇷, to give it the look of a fishing lodge on the high plains. On the other side of the ⬆️ door, I crushed up a vintage reel and turned it into a doorknob. We have not only fishing tackle but also fashionable country wear, bags, etc. If you are ever in Asakusa, please take a look!
