As an aspiring painter in my youth, I was drawn to New York City, the center of contemporary art.
I lived in the East Village of New York City, the center of contemporary art.
Many of my neighbors were of Ukrainian descent and we became good friends.
We found a great Ukrainian restaurant with reasonable prices.
I went there for dinner almost every day.
I often ate at Odessa's, which is a combination of galette and spring rolls.
My favorite dish was "brinsis", which is a combination of Odessa's galette and spring rolls, and "piologi", which is a Ukrainian version of dumplings, both of which are served with a dollop of sour cream.
So, that's why,
